Got a call from a number with a prerecorded voice, sounded American, saying it was from HMRC and they were starting legal proceedings. The message said I could be connected to their team, so I asked to speak to someone. A bloke with a thick Indian accent came on, but when I questioned why HMRC would use an American voice for their messages, he just cut the call. Felt dodgy straight away.
