I recently received a call from the number +44 7870 669370, which I found out is linked to EE Orange. I'm currently based in the Philippines, so when I saw a call coming in from the UK, I assumed it was a potential client. Imagine my surprise when an automated voice greeted me in Tagalog, instructing me to hang tight while an agent would come on the line. I patiently waited for about two or three minutes, but then the call just dropped, leaving me with nothing but a busy signal. This whole experience has me quite concerned - could it be that they’ve managed to hack into my phone? Is that even a thing?

I fell victim to a parcel scam. At 1 PM on the 31st of May, I received a text that read: **“PO: Jamie attempted to deliver your parcel today; however, no one was home. Kindly arrange another delivery date at: https://local-depot25.com.”** In a moment of distraction, I clicked on the link, which led me to a form. I began to fill it out but then thought better of it and stopped. I've already alerted my bank, and they're keeping a watchful eye on my account.

Jamie’s got way more parcels to drop off than even Santa could handle on Christmas night. Lucky for us, the big guy in red with the snowy beard is way better at sneaking presents in than poor Jamie here. But at least Santa’s for real, unlike Jamie. Complete con! A supposed parcel delivery was scheduled for Sunday, but I've ordered nothing whatsoever! I’m fairly certain Royal Mail doesn’t operate on a Sunday either. While the website is fairly decent, it claims that due to the pandemic, Royal Mail has stopped leaving cards for missed deliveries. I find that hard to believe!

I decided to look up the number on Google, and lo and behold, I found a multitude of similar accounts. My advice is to steer clear of this; I attempted calling the number back, but it cut off after just one ring. Best to avoid any interaction!
