Got a text from this number saying something about my Disney account. It had a dodgy link pretending to be Disney to "update payment" - basically trying to steal your card details! You can actually ring the number and it answers, but then the person on the other end hangs up or blocks you at random times. Legit companies that send these kinds of texts never take incoming calls, so that’s a dead giveaway as well.

Beware of Sanako Service Ltd, they’re a dodgy outfit based in the Marshall Islands. They run websites like coin-mining-Farm.com, Riveraammunition.com, Finvestings.com and Mind mining.com - all of which seem to be scams. I got scammed by finvestings.com myself. Make sure to report any suspicious calls to the FCA in the UK.

Got a dodgy text claiming to be from "dpd" about trying to drop off a parcel while I was supposedly out - which I definitely wasn't. The message had a link where it said I'd need to pay £1 to get another delivery attempt the next day. I clicked it just to see what would happen, and luckily nothing bad seemed to occur, but definitely don’t hand over any cash! What gave it away for me was the site wasn’t actually dpd’s proper one and the wording was a bit rubbish.

I’ve just encountered a rather dubious DPD scam! They’re trying to get me to cough up a delivery fee for a parcel they claimed to have attempted to deliver, yet there’s absolutely no way to pick it up myself. What caught me off guard was how credible it seemed, given that I was actually expecting a package to arrive today right around the moment I received their message. Quite the coincidence, isn’t it? To top it off, they even had my address! How very odd indeed.
