Today, we received a call from this number. The chap on the line claimed to represent the United Kingdom Business List, but oddly enough, he said that we were at the halfway mark of a two-year contract. He mentioned that we had previously handed over £99 as the first installment for this supposed deal, and now he was after the remaining £100. It was rather obvious that he was still using the same contact number. I can’t help but wonder why the authorities aren’t able to track down individuals like this? They seemed to be leaving a pretty clear trail that should be relatively simple to follow.

I received a rather puzzling call the other day from someone claiming to represent a search engine optimisation company. They informed me that our payment was overdue for some sort of service we apparently signed up for. When I probed for more information about who they were and how they intended to collect payment, she mentioned something about using my card details from last year. Naturally, I asked her to clarify which card we had used and the specifics of the information they possessed. She promised to have someone from their accounts department reach out to us the following day but abruptly ended the call. When I tried to get back in touch, the line was answered with just a vague “hi,” without even a company name or any introduction. When I asked for further clarification, she abruptly hung up again. Quite the dodgy experience, I must say!

We've received around four calls from this lot, who are now announcing that we're entering our second year of advertising with them. It's hard to believe, but we only started our business just eight weeks ago!

We received the same ring today, but didn’t cough up the 100 quid and won’t until it’s documented. We tried to trace the number and came across this thread. So, we called them again and put the phone on auto-dial. She claimed there was some mix-up and that the billing department would get in touch with us. Once we figure out how to share the recorded message here, we'll definitely do so.

This number has been linked to a scam involving rings. We were scammed out of £500 by someone named Franny Cullen. Apparently, he has quite the notorious reputation as a con artist and is a registered sex offender.
