Someone rang me claiming to be from HMRC, saying I'd face legal consequences and to press 1 to talk to someone. I pressed 1 just to check if it was a prank or a proper scam. A guy with a foreign accent answered, saying "representative speaking, how can I help?" I told him to never ring me again and then they just ended the call.
