I recently received a rather concerning text message from what appears to be a debt management company, stating something along the lines of "having troubles with debt..." or similar wording. Oddly enough, I had received a previous message about this issue as well, but from a different number that merely referenced our postcode. It seems far too coincidental for it to be mere chance. They've given us the option to ignore or respond with "STOP," but I should mention that the latest text originated from a mobile number linked to Orange. Upon trying to return the call, I was greeted by a voicemail instead! Quite perplexing, isn't it?

Received an eerily similar message earlier today, though it had our postcode. Being a tech enthusiast, I decided to send a cheeky little virus to their number... should be amusing when they try to switch it on next time. Just to clarify, it was from a debt management company, so no cause for alarm!

Hi there! I’ve attempted to call this number on several occasions, but at times I just get a strange disconnection noise, while other times it jumps straight to an orange voicemail. Just received a text saying something about debt, which is completely baffling since we don’t have any debts ourselves. It really makes you wonder how these folks obtained my number. It’s all rather odd! Nonetheless, I appreciate your assistance. I’ve just replied to the message with a firm request to stop, so hopefully that’ll put an end to it. Cheers for your help!

It's quite concerning, isn't it? While we don’t personally engage with these messages, we receive around four texts of this nature each week. The one that mentioned a postcode definitely raised some alarms for us!

We've just received a text from this number and we're completely in the dark about who it might belong to. Strangely, the message contained nothing but our postcode. It's quite unsettling and we're feeling rather suspicious about it. Could anyone shed some light on this? It honestly feels like it could be some sort of scam, and we'd appreciate any insights or assistance!

Absolutely the same experience here! We’re quite baffled, to be honest. It’s perplexing how these individuals managed to obtain our postcode-it feels rather intrusive! Honestly, it’s a bit concerning to think they have access to such private information. This was the first text I received, but we've been receiving calls too. There was one particularly unsettling incident where someone rang my mum's landline, sought me out personally, and when she told him I no longer lived there but could pass along a message, the chap responded with shockingly rude language directed at my mum! As you can imagine, we wasted no time in reporting him.
