So, a quick update to my earlier post - just got a call again but this time from 07745653143. It was one of those automated messages, same spiel as before saying it’s from Amazon Prime. Had a look at my Amazon Prime subscription though, and it’s nowhere near renewal time. This marks the second call this hour, and overall, the third one in just two days. Pretty annoying!

Got a call from this number claiming it was about some Amazon Prime auto-renewal. They said £79 would be taken from my bank unless I hit 1. I didn’t bother, just ended the call. This is the second time in two days they've called me.

Got a call claiming to be from some “national investigations bureau,” saying they had found illegal stuff linked to my account. They warned that my national insurance number would be blocked unless I chatted with a police officer straight away. They kept saying it was urgent and told me to press one immediately. Total scam!
