I got a call from someone saying they were from the TV Licensing people, talking about lowering my TV licence fee and giving me a refund. When I asked them to say again who they were, they insisted it was the TV Licensing company. But when I mentioned I'd check everything online myself, they just stopped responding.

I got a call about a TV licence scam and they wanted my bank details for a direct debit. Definitely don't give out your direct debit info to them!
