Got a recorded call from someone saying they were from HMRC, warning me about legal trouble if I didn’t sort stuff out. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a text from this number saying "Hi Dad, my phone’s dead and this is my new number. Please contact me on WhatsApp when you see this." If it really was one of my kids, they’d call me directly to check in. So, I’m not replying and just deleting it straight away. Anyone else who gets something like this from this number should be careful - it’s likely a scam or phishing try.
