I got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying there was a purchase of a £739 phone on my account. They asked me to download some software on my computer so they could “help,” but I got suspicious and didn’t go through with it. Apparently, this lets them get into your phone and PC, stealing all your personal info and bank details. It’s a new scam tactic, called swooping or something. I contacted Amazon straight away, and they said their security team is on it. Just a heads up, don’t fall for this - it’s pretty dangerous.
