I got a call from what sounded like HMRC, some robotic voice saying I was facing arrest and to press 1 to talk to someone. Honestly, don’t engage with these, they’re definitely scams. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a missed call from this number earlier. Left a voicemail saying my line would be cut off in a couple of hours. Tried ringing back but no luck connecting. The voicemail was mostly in Chinese, except for a tiny bit in English - felt totally like a scam to me.

I've had this number call me a couple of times, and the most recent call left a voicemail claiming they'd looked into my finances and were about to send an arrest warrant if I didn't get back to them. It was pretty unnerving, especially for older folks to hear something like that. That's why I decided to check the number on 'who rang me' and felt a bit better seeing it's just a scam. Honestly, the people behind these calls should be the ones to face legal trouble. Really glad I found this site!
