Got a call from 07526 593762 today at about 3.30pm. Left a voicemail, a lady with an American accent saying there were weird charges on my Visa card, one near £1,300 and another about £400. She told me to press 1 if I hadn’t made those transactions. I called back using another phone, but never pressed anything. Also, I don’t even have a Visa card!

Got a robo call claiming to be from my “bank” saying suspicious stuff was going on with my account and to hit 2 to chat with someone about it. Seemed super fishy since: 1. They never said which bank 2. My bank never uses recorded calls like that 3. The call came from a mobile number, which banks usually don’t use. Definitely a scam.
