Had this exact call from 07507789696 yesterday, someone claiming to be "Emma" trying the old energy saving scam. It's so clear they're faking the number but why would they pick a mobile to fake? Makes it super obvious they’re not legit! Don’t bother answering if you get this one.

This number rang me up claiming to be from bank security, saying there were two attempted purchases from retailers I supposedly never used. They mentioned big amounts being taken. Absolutely wrong. Those were places I’ve definitely bought from before, and I’d just checked my account - no transactions shown and no money missing. It was clear to me a scam, so when they told me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to speak to a manager, I just ended the call.
