So, this lady with a yankee accent called me and asked if I was [insert name here]. When I asked who was on the line, she just went "god!" and then cut me off right away! The call took ages to go through, so I’m guessing it was a scam, maybe some dodgy number from abroad.

I got a quick "hello" and then the call dropped, you could tell there was a bunch of chatter like a call centre in the background.

A woman called claiming she was from Aviva insurance, saying she could lower my premium. I told her I wasn’t interested in lowering anything as I don’t even have a policy with them. Then she just ended the call. Pretty strange!
