Got a call claiming to be from Amazon, telling me to press 1 to talk to a manager, or else they’d take £78 from my account. Honestly, this seems really dodgy and risky. So many older people might fall for this kind of thing, it’s proper scary. Really think these calls should be taken seriously before someone gets stung.

I’ve had multiple calls from this number with someone talking in an odd foreign accent saying there’s a problem with my Amazon account, trying to scam me out of cash. They keep asking me to press 1 during the call to speak to “Amazon” or press 3 if I hear the voicemail message. Definitely sounds dodgy.
