Got a call from someone claiming to be from my water and drains insurance. I was pretty sure it was dodgy because my insurer never rings me on a mobile number. So, I just blocked the number straight away.

Someone rang claiming to be from fraud prevention but called ended the moment I answered, which was me speaking in a younger voice. When I tried ringing the number back it just cut off again. So obviously a dodgy call, probably aimed at older or more vulnerable people. Total scumbags!

Got a call on my mum's mobile from someone saying they were from a Call Blocking service or something similar. She said she didn't want anything to do with it and just hung up straight away. Seemed a bit fishy using a mobile phone for that kind of thing.

They called me twice within a minute. The number wasn’t familiar, so I chose not to pick up. After checking reviews about numbers like that, I think I handled it properly.
