Just got a call from this number and it was so scary. The guy was really threatening, saying awful things about hurting my family with razor blades and acid. Totally terrifying.

Some guy called Simon Carter 4783 claiming to be a bailiff from the English court, saying my business owed HMRC £864.07. He knew loads about me and my business partner and was really pushy and intimidating. He gave me a ref number and told me to ring Central London County Court, but they had no record of my company or me. Then he phoned back saying the court would be contacting me soon and that they’d be coming over. I ended up reporting it to the local cops and Action Fraud. Don’t let these losers scare you or get away with it!

Someone attempted to scam my partner’s business today. They claimed she hadn’t paid an Inland Revenue bill that her accountants supposedly missed, and asked for a bank transfer. The fraudsters even had her bank details and sort code, plus the phone number for Birmingham magistrates’ court and a made-up reference number. I called the court myself and they had no idea about it. The guy on the phone was really pushy and rude, trying to make it sound official, even threatening extra charges if she went in person to pay. Definitely don’t get caught out by these lot.

Got a call from someone saying they were bailiffs claiming we owed £800 to the tax office. They said their firm had sent court papers to our house but we hadn’t responded, so now they were on their way to take stuff worth that debt. I played along for a bit, totally clueless about any of it, then just burst out laughing. The bloke got annoyed, called me a rude name and hung up. Pretty clear it was a scam.

Had a call off some bloke claiming to be a bailiff about unpaid business rates, saying he’d come round to take stuff if I didn’t pay up. Even the cops were convinced he was legit at first, but then he never turned up. He asked me to send the money through a bank transfer. Scam for sure.
