Oh yeah, I got the same thing! Some so-called HMRC warrant for my arrest popped up. Since it was from a mobile, I just replied telling them to get lost and warned them I'm reporting this creepy nuisance call to the cops.

Well, this was pretty creepy. Got a robo call from a lady claiming to be with HMRC saying my audit showed I’m some kind of tax dodger or whatever? It was from a mobile number, so I immediately thought it was rubbish. Don’t fall for it! HMRC always contacts you through letters, never by phone or email!

Just like everyone else mentioned, I got a call with some weird, scratchy voice. They tried to scare me saying my account is flagged for tax evasion and if I don’t call a number right away, there’s supposedly a warrant out for my arrest. Total rubbish!
