I got a phone call from someone saying they were from HMRC and called themselves David. When I tried ringing the police helpline from another phone, they just ended the call on me. Now whenever they call, it just goes straight to voicemail.

These folks are just out to con everyday people, trying to scam anyone they can.

i got an automated call claiming it was from the magistrates court saying i had a case against me. they asked me to press 1 to talk to someone but i ignored it because i knew it was a scam.

Got a call saying the national crime agency is gonna block my national insurance number - definitely sounds like a scam to me.
