Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was from Citizens Advice and there’s some government plan to clear credit card and loan debts. When I said I wasn’t interested and asked to be removed from their list, he started swearing and being really rude.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming he was from Trading Standards, saying there was a complaint about me. I asked him what the complaint was about, and he jumped in saying I had some unpaid debt and was only making minimum payments. I told him I didn’t owe anything and if I was just making minimum payments, there wouldn’t be any complaint to start with. Plus, I didn’t see how Trading Standards would get mixed up in that. Told him to stop ringing me and then ended the call.

Some bloke from overseas rang me up claiming I owed a bunch on my credit cards. I just laughed and told him I don’t even own a credit card, so no way I have any debt. He goes, ‘So, you find that funny?’ I said yeah, it’s pretty funny since I’ve got no credit cards at all. After that, he just hung up on me. Straight onto my blocked calls from there.

A person with an Indian accent rang me and asked for me using my old name. I asked what it was about and he claimed he was calling from Citizens Advice. I told him I’m not the person he’s looking for, and then he went off, saying something like ‘why you asking what it’s about, are you wasting my time, you stupid f##king c##t’ and just hung up. Honestly, I’m absolutely fuming about it!

Someone rang me from this number claiming they could clear more than £60k in debts. When I asked to be addressed as Mr (surname) rather than Mr (first name), he got all grumpy. Then, when I asked why a proper financial company would be using a mobile number to call me, he just shouted some nasty words at me and hung up. Proper rude!

Got a missed call from this number yesterday and they ring me again today. Cheers for the comment on 17/08/16 listing those 3 numbers, I’ve just been getting calls from 07522010478, 07518927298 and 07775742063. The first one rings the longest but they just hang up as soon as I pick up and stay quiet. The other two ring for a few seconds then cut off before I even answer. I’ve been on the TPS list with my phone for 3 months now and after nearly a month of no calls, the spam’s starting again.

I got a call from a bloke with an accent I couldn’t place, talking about some debts. I asked him where he’d found my info. He said the company was called DRF, with an address at 55 Heywood Court, Manchester, SA70 8BS, and the number 0161 826 0358. I’ve never heard of this firm before and not sure if that address is legit. The phone number doesn’t ring any bells either. Just a heads up to everyone!

When I asked where exactly he was calling from, he repeated the same and then claimed he had some news about unsecured debts in my name. I ended the call straight away. It’s really worrying how some folks might fall for these scams pretending to be from Citizens Advice Bureau!
