Called me just before 10 at night. Claimed to be from Santander and told me I’d been tricked by an email supposedly from Boots about a £2.97 delivery fee I’d paid with Apple Pay. That amount was exactly what I’d paid, so I thought it might be real. He freaked me out saying fraudsters had stolen £3,000 from my account but promised to recover it if I acted fast. This guy was a total pro, had an answer for every question. Ended up getting proper scammed.

Got a call yesterday 01/09/25 around 11.30pm. The person said they were from Santander and working with Fraudline. Ended up getting scammed out of £550 from my bank account, and they tried to get into my other accounts too. Realised it was a scam right after and stopped helping them. Cancelled my card straight away and called Santander fraud department using the number on my card. They confirmed it was a scam. DO NOT ANSWER OR TALK TO ANYONE CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER, DAY OR NIGHT, THEY’RE JUST TRICKING YOU FOR YOUR MONEY.
