Got a text from 07526750997 claiming my Paypal account was restricted and I had to verify my details within 24 hours by clicking a dodgy link. Obviously, I checked my Paypal account through the official website and everything was completely normal. Definitely a scam!

Got a dodgy text through, obviously a scam. The muppet even included their phone number, so I rang back and left a message threatening to report them to the cops and told them to stop sending rubbish spam. There's no way PAYPAL would ever ask for my details like that in a text. The link looked sketchy as well [#]ow.ly/3jMN30haHI1. I traced the IP, it’s 54.67.62.204, linked to an Amazon AWS server. If anyone fancies digging deeper on this, let’s share what we find. We need to stick together to stop these fraudsters.
