Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, he asked if he was speaking to me and claimed he was calling from some online pharmacy. He told me I "usually get NHS prescriptions," which confused me. I told him I haven't seen a doctor or needed a prescription for ages, then he just hung up on me. Weird. Haha.

Today I got a call from someone claiming to be a pharmacy. After looking up the number online, I found out it’s connected to a poorly written website selling Armani Jeans and stuff, written in awful English. This caller is definitely fake and pretending to be linked to medicine is really worrying. Never give out any personal info about your health, bank details, finances, or meds to any cold caller! Don’t say a word, just hang up, report it to the police right away so others don’t get caught out, and block the number straight away. Be careful out there!

Got a call from a bloke with a thick Indian accent saying he was ringing from the NHS online prescription service. When I asked which company he was with, he said "Phamacy4u," but then he accidentally mentioned "Clinic4u" a bit later - totally slipped up more than once. I wasn’t about to let him get away scamming others, so I kept him chatting for a while, fed him some made-up info, then ended the call. Honestly, don’t get caught out by this rookie scammer!

Today I got a call from this number, they asked me for my name right away. I asked twice to know who was calling, but the guy had such a thick accent it was tough to catch, and when he mentioned something like an online pharmacy (if I heard that right), I told him I had no idea who he was, hoping he would explain more. Suddenly, his tone flipped totally, and he shouted "F#CK OFF" loud and clear before hanging up on me! Seriously, don’t pick up if this number rings you, and under no circumstances share any personal details about your meds or health stuff. It’s definitely some kind of scam!

Got a call from an Indian guy, I told him nicely that I wasn’t interested, said thanks but no thanks. Then he rang back, so I just didn’t pick up. Suddenly he calls again right away, and when I finally answered, he started shouting some awful curses at me. Honestly, just don’t bother answering and block that number straight away.

He actually knew my name and where I live, and said he had my details and wanted to check if I was on a repeat prescription. When I asked him who gave him my info, he just dodged the question. I got a call from a bloke saying he was ringing from an NHS online chemist, though he didn’t give a proper name, trying to get me to register for my repeat meds. When I asked how he’d got my details, he just said NHS. I told him I actually work in an NHS pharmacy too and that what he was doing was breaking GDPR rules since he shouldn’t have my info for this sort of thing. Then he just cut me off. I’ve passed the number on to the relevant NHS team and would warn everyone not to give anything away to this caller.

On Monday 10th December 2018, this number rang me up thrice. I couldn’t catch what the bloke was saying and had to ask him a couple times to repeat himself. He claimed he was ringing from Online Prescription UK or something like that. I was a bit sceptical and said, “Really?” He questioned why I said that, so I repeated myself. Then, abruptly, he just hung up on me!
