I got a call from a bloke saying he was from the council, claiming I’d made a claim or somethin'. Then, just a couple of minutes later, he put me through to a guy called Ben. Ben organised a call back for tomorrow, but then someone rang tonight at 8 to chat about the claim. When I told them I’d already spoke to someone, they said oh right, that was probably Ben... sounded all nice and polite but now I’m a bit iffy about the whole thing.

Someone rang me pretending to be a kid messaging their mum, saying they’d lost their phone. Seemed a bit odd, like a cheeky little trick or something. Felt a bit weird getting that kind of text from an unknown number.

Got a message from +44 7521 786898 saying something about EVRl: There’s an update for your product (GB10583) and a link to rebook.info-125.com to supposedly rebook. Definitely a scam, don’t click on anything!

Got a message out of the blue saying I’d been around someone who has covid and I needed to click a link to get a test sent. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

I got a message from 07521251588, claiming it was from Gov.uk about some discounted energy help. Weird thing is, a couple days ago I got the exact same text but from another number. Seems a bit fishy to me.

Got a text from this number offering a cheap energy deal - total scam! Be careful if you get anything like that.
