I got a text warning me that I'd come into close contact with someone who has Omicron. It asked me to click a link to get a free test kit, but it smells like a total scam to me. Definitely don’t click on those dodgy links!

I got a call from 07521140947 with some automated voice telling me £800 had been charged for an iPhone 13. It said if I didn’t buy it, to press 1 to talk to Amazon. Sounded dodgy to me.

Somebody rang up saying there was some offer from a firm, but I didn’t quite catch what company it was. Seemed a bit dodgy, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, told me I was going to court for some criminal case and needed cash right away. Total scam!

This person kept saying the company name, but I just couldn't catch it no matter how many times they tried. I never got why they were ringing me up. Eventually, they just ended the call.

I didn’t pick up when the call came through and honestly wouldn’t have if I’d spotted it. Usually, it’s just a waste of time, probably scammy types preying on the gullible. Best to just avoid these numbskulls altogether.

They probably just cold call people hoping to trick someone who'll fall for their story, sounds like typical scam behaviour to me.

I didn’t pick up ‘cos the number was unfamiliar. The answerphone took over but they never left a message.
