I received a rather dubious call informing me that I must have my solar panels inspected every two years, claiming that the original company that fitted them had gone under. There’s a grain of truth to that-Southern Electric did the installation, but they’re very much still in business, albeit no longer in the solar installation game. I had organised an afternoon appointment, and then a manager rang me from the number 0752 107 6550 to confirm this visit. Yet, surprise, it never materialised. The first call came from a withheld number, and now the manager from 0752 107 6550 is avoiding my calls. I can’t help but wonder if my refusal to pay for their so-called services-marketed as a complimentary efficiency check-had anything to do with it. Quite the dodgy scenario, if you ask me!
