Bloody pests! They ring and disconnect even before you can pick up. It's baffling to understand the mindset/intention of these idiots. It's likely they earn a commission based on the number of calls they make, irrespective of whether anyone answers or not. I plan to discover their identities and have some 'acquaintances' pay them a physical visit to deal with them accordingly!

Just like the comments above, I was in the middle of having my dinner when I had to answer the phone. However, it rang off before I could pick it up, while playing that familiar tune saying, "Your call is very important to us". After just five minutes, all I heard was a final "goodbye" automated message. Well, I must admit, I feel quite foolish now.
