The Telephone Preference Service strikes me as utterly pointless; we’re effectively squandering taxpayer funds on personnel who seem utterly powerless to put a stop to these relentless nuisances. They might as well be twiddling their thumbs for all the good they do, as they can only manage to filter out a handful of live marketing calls. It’s high time the government got their act together and took decisive action on this matter-this has been dragging on for far too long!
