Got my bill recently and out of hundreds of calls, this was the only one I ended up paying extra for. Feels like a dodgy scam to make you hold for ages and rack up charges.

It's unbelievable that these morons can ring up whenever they like, any day and any time, with no consequences. The whole telephone preference service is pretty much pointless, just a waste of taxpayers’ cash funding staff who can’t actually stop these nonstop nuisance calls. All they seem to do is screen live marketing calls, which isn’t much help. The money would be better spent elsewhere. Honestly, the government needs to step up and fix this mess - it’s been dragging on way too long.
