I missed the call, so I have no clue who it was. My phone flagged the number as spam, but I decided to see what they were about and sent a message saying: “You just rang me. Prove you’re not spam. Who exactly is this? You’ve got a day to get back to me, otherwise I’m reporting you.” Haven’t heard a thing since.

Got a call from some bloke asking for my bank info and stuff, felt kinda fishy to me - probably a scam!

I tried calling them back but all I got was a message saying the number wasn’t valid.

Got a call from a bloke claiming I was owed a tax refund, but he wanted my bank info, address, and phone number. Definitely be cautious! I told him to post a cheque if he truly had my address. Then, I asked for a contact number of the financial ombudsman he said sided with me - he gave me 01274 753250, which turns out to be linked to scams as well!
