Got a call from some bloke with a thick accent claiming to be from Amazon customer support. He was trying to tell me there’d been a £900 transaction on my account. I told him straight up that wasn’t true and called him out as a scammer, then told him to stop wasting both our time before I hung up. My advice? Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t hand over any personal info or confirm you shop with Amazon. Weirdly, these calls usually pop up shortly after I get a parcel from Amazon, sometimes within hours. Not sure if it’s a coincidence, but it’s definitely suspicious.
