Had a bunch of calls from them this week and finally picked up today. The recorded voice led me to a bloke who said there was some dodgy stuff on my internet and they’d be shutting it off. I asked how he planned to fix it, and he told me to get on my computer so he could guide me. Told him I didn’t have one, and then he just hung up on me! Total scam if you ask me.

I keep getting these robo calls claiming to be from Amazon telling me theres an issue with my account and to press one. Trust me, dont press anything, just end the call straight away. Its happened like 4 times in the last fortnight, usually early morning like 9 or 10 am. If ur phone lets you block the number, do it asap so they hopefully stop pestering u.

When I phoned the number, some bloke with an Indian accent answered, sounded like a call centre with other Indian voices in the background. He claimed to be from Virgin Media, but when I asked him to email me proof, he got really rude and threatened to cut me off for 15 days. The whole thing felt dodgy and misleading, especially since the number looked like a UK mobile. Honestly, my tip is just don’t bother with it at all.
