I said no, then he got annoyed and hung up on me. This is the third time they've called me from this number.

That’s Tismi BV on the line. They’re a telemarketing outfit, keen on persuading you to sign up for their contracted SIM cards. It’s not exactly spam, but they can be quite insistent when trying to nudge you towards getting a new phone SIM. If you’re not interested, just hang up-eventually, they’ll stop bothering you. I got a letter saying I'd been approved for a loan and they wanted me to set up a direct debit. They have this site [#]lendersist[###], but I saw there’s no way to contact them or make complaints on there. When their staff calls, they use fake employee voices and phone noises to trick you into thinking it’s a legit company. Just a heads up, they do have a proper-looking website, so it’s pretty easy to get fooled.

They claimed to be some sort of loan help service. Told me I got turned down for a loan and my info had been shared with them. When I asked who actually rejected the loan, they said they couldn’t view that info. I then asked to speak to a manager, but they just hung up. I phoned back and a woman answered, saying the manager was tied up and I had to talk to her instead. Think about it - would a proper loan company ring you on your mobile, and when you ring back you get someone else? Seems like a call centre or some sort of recording just trying to fool you.

Got a call on Friday, the connection was terrible and the woman never said her name. I couldn’t catch a single word she was saying. Then she asked if I’d applied for a loan… which I had. She wanted to know how much I was after, so I told her. After that, she asked for my bank info and said I’d been approved… which is odd, cos I’ve been trying to call them all morning and no one’s answering. Seriously, don’t trust them, it’s a massive con, and they keep changing their numbers. Stay careful!
