What a right con! Received a call from someone purporting to be with the Housing Repair Team for the local council, inquiring whether any repairs were needed for my council residence. The thing is, I own my home outright! The caller had a strong accent, likely from Africa, if I had to guess. I called him out on his nonsense, and he promptly terminated the call. Typical!
