Got a call asking if I was satisfied with some repair work they said they’d done. Told them I actually live in my own place and hadn’t had any repairs done recently. Then they quickly switched to asking if I needed any work done around the house. Felt like it was leading up to some sort of scam.

This has got to be a total con! They rang up, chatting about if my home repairs were all done and said they could fix other stuff for less if I just paid a deposit right then. Honestly, watch out people, don’t get caught out by this!

They called about some kind of housing disrepair issues meant for council tenants, but I actually own my place, so I have no clue how they got my details. Felt a bit dodgy, like they were trying to push me into signing up for a no win no fee lawyer deal about repairs the landlord supposedly didn’t carry out. I’d say watch out.
