Got about a hundred calls this week from 02, all pushing contract SIM deals. Quite annoying!

First time I picked up, they were trying to sort me out with an O2 SIM. When they said they needed to do a ‘credit check’, I gave them an old blocked card I had lying about. The moment he entered the numbers, it should’ve flagged up that the card was no good, but he went on and even asked for the three digits on the back. I knew straight away something was off when he didn’t get an invalid card warning. Since then, my phone’s been flooded with spam calls, it’s getting ridiculous. I’m seriously thinking about getting a new number now.

This number just rang me up, and a guy started chatting away. Sounds like he might be calling from India. He was going on about the 02 network mostly.
