A bloke called me up and started with the usual "How are you today?" without even saying who he was or checking if I wanted to chat with some random stranger. He launched into a rehearsed pitch about the company he supposedly worked for, but I cut him off and said, "Why ask how I am when I don’t even know who you are, and you’re just trying to sell me something?" I then told him he had no right to ring my private number, to which he cheekily replied, "Anyone can call anyone." I shot back, "Not if it’s just a scam or fraud." I wasn’t having any of it and told him to piss off, then ended the call before he could say anything else.
