So I got this call and they said I signed up on some site for marketing purposes. I kept asking them to take me off their list but the person on the phone kept saying I gave permission somewhere online - which I honestly have no idea about since I barely caught the company’s name because the background was noisy. When I asked to talk to their manager, she flat out refused. I tried to get her to say the company name again so I could write it down, but she said she already told me at the start and wouldn’t repeat it. The whole call was awful, she acted super unprofessional and was really confrontational. Honestly, she shouldn’t be speaking to anyone in any business role. It got so frustrating that she was happy to just keep going without hanging up, and for like five minutes we just went in circles. I’d ask “what’s your company?” and she wouldn’t say, just laughed at me a few times. Absolutely not acceptable at all.
