6 yearsIt seems I unwittingly signed up for a marketing call on some website. Despite my numerous attempts to opt-out, the operator was unyielding, claiming that I had given my consent online. To be honest, I can't recall even visiting the site, let alone hearing the company name properly since it was all a bit chaotic in her office. I requested to speak with a manager, but she flatly refused. When I asked her to repeat the company name so that I could jot it down, she insisted she had already mentioned it at the start of the conversation. The whole interaction was dreadful; her attitude was shockingly unprofessional and combative. It honestly felt like she didn’t belong in a role where customer interaction was necessary. It escalated to the point where we spent a solid five minutes going back and forth-me asking for the name of her company and her just refusing to tell me, even laughing at my predicament.
