I got a ring from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from some market survey firm. She started asking loads of questions about my job, how much I earn at home, what broadband I use and even about charities linked to my utility provider. I wasn't having any of it, told her no thanks and the call ended right there. I've blocked the number since then.

Got two calls within a few hours but didn't pick up either time. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

This was the exact same outfit as the one behind 07520 640644! So daft - just swapping phone numbers to dodge being blocked! Some geezer, probably from benefits UK, ringin’ up asking a few quick questions about my household. Totally fishing for info to use in their scams. They were quizzin’ about mortgages and loans (bet that’s for their PPI nonsense), then about my car (probably setting up those crash claims), and even about my washing machine (definitely one of those fake warranty ploys). Don’t bother picking up!

Got a call from a woman with a foreign-sounding accent asking for Danny Richard. Told her she’d got the wrong person and that I’m not related to him, then she just hung up. Felt dodgy to me, most likely a scam. Had a similar call about three hours earlier, using another number. I wouldn’t trust those calls, best to be cautious.
