Some bloke messaged me on WhatsApp acting like he was my son, calling me mum and saying his phone had broken so I should save the new number he gave me. He kept chatting all day, pretending to be him, even asked if I was in or out the house. Then he rang me but didn’t answer when I called back. Later that evening, my real son rang from his usual number and when I mentioned his phone was broken, he looked confused and said it wasn’t true. That’s when I realised it was a scammer.

Be wary of this number! I’ve been pestered by them all day until I finally picked up the call. Turns out, they claim to be from Yellow Mobile, collaborating with Vodafone. I believe it's a dodgy scheme designed to part you from your cash. Just ignore them!

I got a call from 07520 640504 claiming to be from Vodafone. I said I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I don’t take random calls like that - pretty sure he was just trying to scam me. He started getting a bit annoyed and kept going on about some brilliant deal for a new iPhone. I told him I wasn’t interested at all and said I’d be reporting his number to Vodafone myself. After that, he just disconnected.

Some bloke rang me up saying Vodafone had picked my number for a special transfer deal. But then, towards the end, he started asking all these weird survey questions that had nothing to do with the original offer. Total waste of time.

Picked up the phone but no words, just silence. These silent rings aren’t great at all.

I just got a call from a bloke claiming to be with Yellow Mobile, saying he was calling for Vodafone. I told him if that was the case, Vodafone must be breaking Data Protection rules by sharing my number. After that, I rang Vodafone directly and they told me it was a spam call and they’ve now blocked all marketing calls to my phone, which is a relief. Honestly, whenever you get calls about PPI or accidents, just bring up Data Protection - they always seem to hang up sharpish once you mention it!

Had this guy call me twice claiming he was from Vodafone. Told him I’m with EE and no amount of contract or deal would make me switch. He even tried offering the new iPhone but I told him it was rubbish and their network’s even worse. He just hung up on me after that.

I keep getting calls from some person abroad asking to speak to Wendy Sanders? They ring a lot and used to call from one number, but I blocked that one. Now they've switched to another phone number, and I've had to block that one too.

Definately a number to watch out for. The bloke first claimed to be with EE, then suddenly tried pushing a Vodafone deal with an iPhone XR for around £43 a month. Sounds like a total scam to me. Kept ringing constantly and was really annoying. Definitely stopped answering.
