Got a call from someone who already had my name and claimed I joined a trading course. When I asked how they got my info and how I supposedly signed up, they got really annoyed. Definitely a total scam.

This trading firm has been ringing me non-stop since early morning, starting at about 7am, using loads of different numbers. I've already reported them to Trading Standards and sent an email asking them to remove my details at [email protected][###], but they haven't stopped. Worse, they've now passed my number on to other callers too. All I can do is keep blocking and reporting every number they use. Such a nightmare!

I got a call from a really polite bloke speaking with a sort of Eastern European accent trying to pitch me some investment deal. He even called me by my name, which caught me off guard. I just said no thanks and ended up blocking the number straight away.

Just like everyone else, I got a call from a woman with a bit of an accent who asked how I was doing and kept saying I’d signed up to trade online. When I told her to erase my info under GDPR, she asked ‘why the change of heart?’ and kept claiming I’d signed up through an advert. Total scam, avoid!

Got a call about signing up for some online trading thing. Didn’t seem legit at all. When I asked how they got my details, they just kept saying I must’ve signed up somewhere, which I know isn’t true. Felt really dodgy.

Got a call from a bloke who sounded like he was somewhere noisy, maybe a call centre. He was trying to sell me something about a business, but I told him I wasn’t interested. Then he said I don’t even know what it is yet, so I told him I was a bit tied up. He then asked “So, are you not interested or just busy?” and just hung up on me. Definitely sounded like a scam, came from a blocked number so I blocked it straight away.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise and didn’t pick up. No voicemail was left, so I just assumed it was one of those scam calls. I’ve saved the number as ‘scam’ and blocked it straight away. Sometimes these calls do leave a voicemail, but it’s just a quick beep or silence for a second. I usually call the voicemail and hit ‘2’ to delete it asap. Feels like they’re just cycling through random numbers trying their luck. Nothing personal, just annoying. I’m quite pleased I didn’t give them what they wanted!
