There’s this strong Asian accent when they call. They keep using the same area code but different numbers. Some calls are asking for my wife, others for someone named Mohamed. I just end the call straightaway and block them every time.

A woman with an Eastern European accent called me, saying she had my info from some online form I supposedly filled out - which is rubbish. She was pushing some sort of financial markets training, which sounded like a load of nonsense. When I asked her to remove my details, she said it wasn’t possible, refused to explain how to delete my info, and then just ended the call on me.

I’ve been getting calls nonstop from this number plus 07676027059, 07563834467 (twice), 07866696270, 07440964020, 07552958354, 07684542887, 07520665533, 07643977158, 07853860578, 07520665252, 07641425557, 07418350088, 07440963670 and a few others. They ring me once then just hang up, so I block them every time. One time I actually answered, and a woman started asking if she could go through some questions. When I asked where she was calling from, she said Malaysia. Over the past three days, I’ve had as many as 11 calls a day from various numbers!

Definitely a scam! I got a call from someone claiming to be in Switzerland, but the woman speaking had a clear Indian accent. It just felt dodgy straight away. Watch out for these types of calls!
