Got a text about some accident claim and how they’re gonna take me to court. Total scam, watch out!

Got a text and call from someone saying they were from AX Insurance about a supposed accident, asking me to provide some info. The message had a few vague details about both sides involved, but when I rang up my own insurer to confirm, they advised me to just ignore it. Apparently, they’re already handling everything with the other person’s insurance directly. Turns out, AX Insurance isn’t linked to this accident at all.
