i got a text about a ppi claim, says they’ve been trying to reach me and have info on how much i might get. it asked me to reply 'post' to get a pack or 'stop' to opt-out. the number seems linked to someone in billingham, but i’m actually from across the river. i’m pretty sure they haven’t bothered to check properly, so i don’t trust this lot one bit.

Got a call from someone saying it's about PPI claims. I’m not really sure about PPI myself, but I’m certain that if you’re under 18, you ain’t eligible for it. Best just to block and ignore that number.

I got a text from 07520631798, saying they’d been trying to reach me about some PPI claim I supposedly had. They told me to reply with 'stop' if I wasn’t interested. Didn’t want to risk it so I just blocked the number on both my phone and my iPad.

Got a call about PPI saying, "we’ve been trying to reach you about your PPI claim, we now know how much you’re owed, reply 'post' for your pack or 'stop' to opt-out." Right away, I looked it up and discovered it’s a scam. The weird thing is, my number is quite new and only my bills company and bank have it. So, it’s worrying to think maybe one of those places is sharing customers’ info. Hope I’m wrong though, fingers crossed!

got a text saying they figured out how much ppi money im owed, but ive never even filed a ppi claim so its clearly a scam. totally dodgy!

Got a message about PPI which said they actually know the amount I'm owed. The text included an option to stop getting texts, but I chose not to opt out. Mainly because, one, I’d have to pay to send the opt-out text back, and two, if I confirm my number is working, it might just invite even more scammers to ring me up.
