So, I got hit with what seemed like a dating scam. First, this woman called Janice - said she was from Eastbourne but working over in Dubai. Things got awkward when she got really miffed because I wouldn’t buy her an iTunes voucher, especially since her card from Dubai apparently wasn’t going through with some company. Then, maybe two weeks down the line, another Janice got in touch, this one claiming to be from Wakefield, using the same number! Both of them said they were blondes in their early 60s... fair to say I had my doubts.
