I came across this number linked to a dodgy ad on Birdtrader selling Cockatoos for £400. The seller insists I pay some transport company directly but oddly enough, not for the bird itself! At first, she came across as really friendly and believable, which nearly had me fooled until I started digging deeper. I grilled her about which vet the bird’s registered with and which courier she planned to use. After I told her I’ve been scammed before and needed proper proof, she just went silent.
