I've come across this telephone number linked to a dodgy advert on Birdtrader, concerning Cockatoos priced at £400. The individual behind it insisted that I send payment to a transport firm, yet curiously didn’t want any money for the bird itself! Quite the scheme, as she initially came across as warm and trustworthy until I dug a little deeper! I kept her on her toes, peppering her with queries about which vet the parrot is registered with and the transport company she intended to use, but now - silence! I fabricated a story about being a previous scam victim, urging her to provide all the specifics, and lo and behold, she’s gone quiet as a mouse! This number appears to be involved in multiple scams, so tread carefully, folks! - caller: Birdtrader hawking Cockatoos from the Isle of Man.
