Within just an hour, they rang up pretty much all my housemates one after the other. Seems like they've nicked the numbers from somewhere. They ring with all sorts of silly tricks, like a man yelling that you’ve upset his partner, accusing you of crashing into his car, or even blaming you for using his WiFi. This has gotta be a scam for sure. The guy sounds like he’s got a sort of Scottish accent mixed with maybe Indian or Pakistani? He was claiming I was using his wifi and even knew my internet provider, which was pretty odd. At first I was a bit freaked out, but honestly it ended up being kinda funny just to ignore it.

I received a call on my mobile from this number, and the bloke or possibly a pre-recorded message informed me that I had been utilising someone’s WiFi. When I attempted to explain that he had dialled the wrong number, he abruptly ended the conversation. Since then, he keeps calling, threatening to involve the police.
