Got a call from someone claiming to be about computer security. We already have a legit provider and a security setup, so when they couldn’t get through that, they just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number and flagged it as spam.

For sure a spam call. They were pushing some kind of antivirus software but kept trying to get me to let them into my computer, which felt dodgy. I've had loads of calls like this before, all sounding exactly the same, even though the number and network changes every time. Avoid!

They've rung me a couple of times but never bother to leave a message. If I don't know the number, I just don't pick up.

I've noticed this number calling me several times over the past several weeks, yet they never seem to bother leaving a message when it reaches my voicemail. I'm starting to suspect it's a scam. I really don’t feel inclined to answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If they were to leave a message, at least I’d have the option to call them back.
