The person on the line had the distinct sound of being in a bustling call centre, and they were keen to chat about trading opportunities. The connection was dreadful, and I informed him that I wasn’t keen at all. He persistently quizzed me on my reasons for declining. He even insisted that if I didn’t make a decision straight away, I might miss out on some exclusive deal. I reiterated my lack of interest and ended the conversation abruptly. I’ve now added the number to my blocked list.
