I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number. A chap on the other end started off with the claim that it wasn't a sales call, yet he proceeded to say he was contacting me from Nationwide to ensure I was satisfied with my life insurance. I promptly replied that I wasn’t a customer of Nationwide and requested him to remove my number from his records and refrain from reaching out to me again. He then insisted, ‘No, I’m not representing any company; I'm calling from nationwide.’ He seemed to just be using the term 'nationwide' in a confusing manner, so I repeated, ‘I’m not with Nationwide!’ The gentleman continued to assert, ‘No, I'm not on behalf of Nationwide; I'm calling from nationwide,’ which was rather perplexing. It was evident my insistence was starting to irritate him. In the end, I had to clarify yet again that I neither possessed any life insurance nor had any desire for it and warned him that his persistent calls amounted to harassment, potentially violating GDPR regulations since it appeared my details had been improperly shared. At that point, he unleashed a barrage of profanities, shouting, ‘F off, f you, f you, f ing b___h’. Honestly, these sorts of companies ought to be held accountable for such ‘malicious communications.’ The caller in question: 07519 568405.
