Got a message from 07519485359 saying "Hi mum, I've dropped my phone in the toilet, ring me on this number." I didn’t even bother reading it properly as the preview showed up straight away, so I just ended up deleting the whole thing without opening it.

Got a text with a one-off code about £850 being paid, and it had a phone number to call if I hadn’t made it. Just a heads up, the number in the message definitely wasn’t from HSBC.
